Edwin Bowman brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources management to the HR Consultancy firm. His in-depth expertise has gained him national recognition as a leader in the area of diversity, needs analysis, retention strategies, team building, and metrics as they apply to the enhancement of diversity in the workforce. He also brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, performance management, and executive coaching. In addition, he has facilitated networks associated with diversity, affirmative action, and work-life balance; conducted culture audits; and helped implement programs to enhance the diverse acquisition of talent.
Mr. Bowman’s experience in directing Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Diversity initiatives in the private industry led to his selection as a consultant to the 1995 Federal Glass Ceiling Commission. The commission was charged with making recommendations to Congress and the White House on effective ways to enhance diversity throughout the public and private sector.
Mr. Bowman’s education credentials include a bachelor’s degree from Fisk University. He provides professional HR consulting services to businesses primarily in White Plans, Tarrytown and Irvington NY.
